Beef (Down Home Beef)


  • What cuts of beef do you offer?

    We sell beef in quarter, half, and whole shares. Each includes a variety of steaks, roasts, and ground beef.

  • How do I place an order?

    Simply reserve your share online. You’ll receive a notification with pickup details once your order is ready.

  • Where do I pick up my beef?

    All orders are processed through MK Meats in Unadilla, Nebraska. Customers are responsible for pickup directly from the locker.

  • Do you ship beef?

    Not yet. Currently, all orders are pickup only. We’re exploring cold storage options to offer shipping in the future.

  • How is your beef raised?

    Our cattle are grass-fed, grain-finished, and dry-aged for premium flavor and tenderness. Everything is raised locally in Southeast Nebraska.

  • How much freezer space do I need?

    A: Approximate guidelines:


    Quarter beef: 4 cubic feet


    Half beef: 8 cubic feet


    Whole beef: 16 cubic feet

  • Can I customize my order?

    Yes! When you reserve, you can choose cut thickness, portion size, and packaging options through MK Meats.

  • What types of feed do you provide?

    We offer ADM feed products, including custom rations tailored to your herd’s needs.

  • How do I request pricing?

    Feed pricing changes with market and freight. To request a quote, fill out our contact form and tell us about your livestock and operation.

  • Do you deliver feed?

    Yes. We provide dependable, on-time deliveries directly to your operation.

  • Do you only serve Nebraska producers?

    While most of our customers are in Southeast Nebraska, we can discuss service options for nearby areas.
